Planning to travel within the European Union?

We've put together all the information you need to make the most of your stay abroad.

You'll find all the information you need about local emergency numbers in the country you're visiting, as well as details of the public alert applications available in the region. In addition, we inform you of country-specific Value Added Service (VAS) numbers, so that you can avoid unwanted extra charges.

Our aim: a safe and pleasant journey, with all the information you need at your fingertips.

What is a Value Added Service (VAS)?

This refers to all calls made to special numbers such as premium rate, freephone or shared cost numbers. These VAS numbers give you access to various services such as games, help lines, editorial content, news, on-call medical services, etc.

What impact will this have on your bill?

The cost of these services can vary considerably depending on the country you visit or the number you use. The cost can be as much as €7/min. We have to pay a fee to the operator in the country you are visiting in order to be able to route your call or SMS to the VAS number. That's why these extra charges apply. At VOO, we want to avoid any nasty surprises, which is why we have decided to block calls to these numbers when you are abroad. This measure is designed to prevent charges of up to €7/min. We've taken this decision in the light of the new roaming regulations, with the aim of protecting you.
